Steven Sproles was honored last night along with the two other finalists for the SREB/iNacol Online Teacher of Year recognition at a dinner in New Orleans.

It is remarkable that two of top three online teachers as identified by these important organizations live in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We continue to be very proud of Mr. Sproles and the phenomenal service he provides his students.

Virtual Virginia is a program of the Virginia Department of Education that provides high quality online courses for students who would otherwise be unable to take Advanced Placement, elective, and world language courses due to the lack of a highly qualified instructor, too few students for the course to be offered by their home school, or scheduling conflicts within the school. Virtual Virginia expands opportunities.
